Environment, affectionately known as EnvironBIT, focuses on providing services to companies involved in roadway infrastructure who seek excellence in their biodiversity-related actions.

The company was established in March 2019 and in less than three months, we were selected for the incubation process at INBATEC, at the Federal University of Lavras. We have an academic origin, which gives us significant know-how in data science. On the other hand, we have over 25 years of experience in biodiversity studies and five years in technology development. One of the founding partners is Prof. Dr. Alex Bager, coordinator of the Brazilian Center for Studies in Road Ecology at the Federal University of Lavras. Prof. Bager is the author of the two Road Ecology books published in South America and has worked in various governmental spheres to improve studies, planning, and management of actions to reduce environmental impacts of roadway infrastructure on biodiversity.
